Contrairement \u00e0 ce que l\u2019on dit souvent, l\u2019\u00e9cole est une institution qui a un facteur de changement en son sein : les \u00e9l\u00e8ves. Le mythe de l\u2019\u00e9cole \u00e0 l\u2019abri de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, fonctionnant comme un temple ou une caserne, est une pure fiction. Cela n\u2019a jamais \u00e9t\u00e9. Les enseignants, qui ne sont pas des brutes insensibles, s\u2019adaptent aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves et aux influences de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 qu\u2019ils incarnent.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Ind\u00e9pendamment des directives venues d\u2019en haut, ce sont eux qui sont \u00e0 la man\u0153uvre. Chacun trouve des fa\u00e7ons de capter la culture des \u00e9l\u00e8ves pour l\u2019enrichir, l\u2019infl\u00e9chir, s\u2019y appuyer pour permettre des acquisitions d\u2019une autre nature. Il ne faut pas l\u2019oublier : la base de l\u2019enseignement, c\u2019est la conversation. Une conversation tr\u00e8s particuli\u00e8re, parce qu\u2019elle n\u2019est pas gratuite et qu\u2019elle doit mener quelque part. Globalement, le changement technique est tel qu\u2019il affecte le fonctionnement social de tous les jours.
