L\u2019occasion est r\u00eav\u00e9e d\u2019aller titiller les sommets alpins. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dans un premier temps, il faut traverser tout le Valais central pour rejoindre Brig. Heureusement qu\u2019un tron\u00e7on d\u2019autoroute s\u2019est ajout\u00e9 pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer le mouvement. Ma vieille habitude m\u2019am\u00e8ne \u00e0 faire un arr\u00eat \u00e0 Vi\u00e8ge, \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la gare, pour boire un caf\u00e9. Cela fait un peu plus d\u2019une heure que je suis parti.<\/p>\n<p>A partir de Brig, il s\u2019agit d\u2019entreprendre la mont\u00e9e en direction du col de la Furka. La mont\u00e9e s\u2019effectue de plateau en plateau. L\u2019arriv\u00e9e vers le d\u00e9part du col se m\u00e9rite. Le paysage est n\u00e9anmoins splendide.<\/p>\n<p>Je repenserai \u00e0 Philippe qui m\u2019indiquait l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re que les Trollstigen (Norv\u00e8ge) sont la Furka suisse. Cela n\u2019est pas enti\u00e8rement faux. L\u2019approche est n\u00e9anmoins plus longue. Je m\u00e9dite sur qui de la Furka ou la Maloja (mont\u00e9e depuis le versant italien) se rapproche le plus des Trollstigen. Quoiqu\u2019il en soit les deux cols valent le d\u00e9tour.<\/p>\n<p>A Ulrichen, je laisse sur ma droite le d\u00e9part pour le col du Nufenen. A Geltsch, c\u2019est le col du Grimsel que je laisse sur ma gauche. De chaque c\u00f4t\u00e9, s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8vent les routes soit du Grimsel (\u00e0 gauche donc), de la Furka \u00e0 droite. A droite, on peut apercevoir le d\u00e9part du col du Grimsel. On voit aussi le Rh\u00f4ne serpenter et s\u00e9parer les deux routes.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Je m\u2019arr\u00eate \u00e0 quelques centaines de m\u00e8tres du sommet, juste en-dessus du belv\u00e9d\u00e8re du glacier du Rh\u00f4ne. Effectivement en observant le paysage s\u2019\u00e9talant sous mes yeux, je retrouve un air de Trollstigen.<\/p>\n<p>Du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la circulation, il est clair qu\u2019en cette p\u00e9riode de l\u2019ann\u00e9e, le col de la Furka a de furieuses ressemblances avec les Trollstigen. En cette p\u00e9riode estivale, il faut \u00eatre particuli\u00e8rement prudent en s\u2019engageant dans les virages. D\u2019importants travaux sont r\u00e9alis\u00e9s dans l\u2019impressionnante descente. La circulation est dense, moins cependant que celle qui s\u2019agite au-dessus sur l\u2019autoroute du Gothard. En-dessus, la circulation est \u00e0 l\u2019arr\u00eat et nous sommes mardi !<\/p>\n<p>A Wassen, je bifurque \u00e0 gauche pour m\u2019engager sur le col du Susten. C\u2019est un tr\u00e8s beau col. Contrairement au col de la Furka depuis le Valais, il n\u2019y a pas de longue approche avant d\u2019\u00eatre happ\u00e9 par les virages. C\u2019est un col relativement roulant. Il s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve dans un d\u00e9cor majestueux. Cependant la circulation est nettement moins dense qu\u2019\u00e0 la Furka. A tel point que je me demande s\u2019il n\u2019y aurait pas des travaux qui emp\u00eacheraient son acc\u00e8s jusqu\u2019au sommet ! Fausse alerte. Ouf.<\/p>\n<p>Arriv\u00e9 au sommet, vous traversez un tunnel pour acc\u00e9der au versant qui vous permettra d\u2019acc\u00e9der \u00e0 l\u2019Oberland bernois. La descente c\u00f4t\u00e9 bernois est splendide \u00e9galement. A plusieurs endroits, la route s\u2019engouffre dans la roche. Impressionnant et majestueux.<\/p>\n<p>A peine engag\u00e9 dans la descente, vous avez l\u2019occasion d\u2019observer le glacier d\u2019Aletsch. Le glacier d&rsquo;Aletsch est le plus grand glacier des Alpes. Je rejoins Innertkirchen, point de d\u00e9part, c\u00f4t\u00e9 bernois, du col du Grimsel, puis je rejoins Meiringen. L\u00e0, je change mes habitudes et me dirige en direction du col du Brunnig, puis \u00e0 Giswil, j\u2019oblique pour rejoindre S\u00f6renberg. Au passage de ces deux cols, j\u2019essuie la pluie, puis un violent orage d\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 alpin. Pas le temps de m\u2019arr\u00eater\u2026 Ce sera au passage du col de Schallenberg, avant de rejoindre Thoune, que je prendrais le temps d\u2019un caf\u00e9 juste de quoi permettre \u00e0 l\u2019orage de me rejoindre pour la descente\u2026 \u00c0 Thoune, il me reste \u00e0 rejoindre le col du Jaun pour rentrer \u00e0 la maison, via Bulle.<\/p>\n<p>Au final, six cols ont \u00e9t\u00e9 franchis et 470 kilom\u00e8tres parcourus. Parti \u00e0 8h30, je suis de retour \u00e0 la maison \u00e0 19h45. Les orages m\u2019ont bien permis de me rafra\u00eechir. Objectif atteint !
