Julia Fordham<\/b> est n\u00e9e le 10 ao\u00fbt 1962 (la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e que moi, tiens!) \u00e0 Portsmouth en Angleterre. Chanteuse-interpr\u00e8te, elle vit maintenant en Californie. Sa carri\u00e8re d\u00e9bute aux d\u00e9buts des ann\u00e9es 1980; elle est vocaliste pour Mari Wilson<\/a> & the Wilsations et Kim Wilde<\/a> (allez un clin d’oeil aux nuits de Laurent Voulzy).
\nEn 1988 para\u00eet son premier album solo. En 1989, l’album Porcelain<\/span> sort chez Virgin (USA) et conna\u00eet le succ\u00e8s. Dans les ann\u00e9es 1990, ses albums connaissent un succ\u00e8s d’estime.
\nAu d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 2000, son duo avec India.Arie<\/a> \u00ab\u00a0Wake Up With You\u00a0\u00bb <\/span>est remix\u00e9 et grimpe dans les charts am\u00e9ricains. That’s Life, <\/i>son septi\u00e8me album suit en 2004, puis un album live en 2005 That’s Live<\/i>.
\nSans contrat avec une maison de disque actuellement, ses derniers morceaux sont disponibles au t\u00e9l\u00e9chargement notamment depuis son site ou sur iTunes Store. Son orientation musicale l’am\u00e8ne maintenant au jazz.
