Cependant, selon la derni\u00e8re recherche du psychologue Christopher FERGUSON publi\u00e9e dans le Psychiatric Quarterly, ces inqui\u00e9tudes et ces conflits sont le plus souvent vains. En effet l\u2019association entre le temps d\u2019\u00e9cran et des probl\u00e8mes psychologiques comme la d\u00e9pression ou des troubles de comportement est n\u00e9gligeable. De ce point de vue les pratiques \u00e9ducatives fond\u00e9es sur la limitation du temps d\u2019\u00e9cran pour les enfants sont infond\u00e9es et peuvent donner des r\u00e9sultats contre productifs.<\/p>\n<p>Ces r\u00e9sultats vont dans le sens du changement d\u2019attitude des professionnels de l\u2019enfance vis \u00e0 vis des \u00e9crans. L\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, les p\u00e9diatres am\u00e9ricains ont abandonn\u00e9 la recommandation de deux heures d\u2019\u00e9cran par jour pour les enfants au regard des nouvelles donn\u00e9es issues de la recherche.<\/p>\n<p>Les recommandations sur le temps d\u2019\u00e9crans reposaient jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent sur des intuitions et des observations anecdotiques.
