L\u2019enjeu est colossal plus particuli\u00e8rement pour l\u2019\u00e9cole.<\/p>\n<p>Aux 19e et le 20e si\u00e8cle, c\u2019est l\u2019Etat au travers de l\u2019institution scolaire qui a eu la responsabilit\u00e9 et la charge de s\u2019assurer et d\u2019assurer l\u2019int\u00e9gration professionnelle, sociale et culturelle de chacune et chacun.<\/p>\n<p>Par contre, rien ne nous dit, devant les changements de paradigmes \u00e9conomiques, sociaux et culturels en cours que demain ce sera encore le cas. Clairement, Google veut se poser en acteur majeur de la formation d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui d\u00e9j\u00e0 et de demain. On est proche de l\u2019\u00e9cole disrupt\u00e9e ou uberis\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<h3>Google pledges $1 billion to prepare workers for automation | Engadget<\/h3>\n<p><em>The &lsquo;Grow with Google&rsquo; initiative can help people adapt with the changing nature of jobs. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Before we get worried about the possibility of a robot uprising, we probably have to worry about our jobs first. Yes, that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2017\/07\/07\/google-ai-local-news\/\">includes me<\/a>. Since machines <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2016\/01\/18\/wef-robot-jobs-report\/\">could take<\/a> millions of jobs the next few years, Google has <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/2017\/10\/12\/grow-with-google-tech-automation\/\">launched<\/a> a new initiative to help people in the US and around the globe learn new skills they can use to start a new career or to grow their business. Company chief Sundar Pichai has announced the project called \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/grow.google\/\">Grow with Google<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb at an event in Pittsburgh. He said that the tech titan understands \u00ab\u00a0uncertainty and even concern about the pace of technological change\u00a0\u00bb but that it believes \u00ab\u00a0that technology will be an engine of America&rsquo;s growth for years to come.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The Grow with Google website houses several programs both teachers and students (of any age) can use. One of the most notable programs is a free Udacity scholarship in Android or web development for 50,000 individuals, even those with no prior experience. In addition, the Grow with Google initiative will be <a href=\"https:\/\/grow.google\/events\/\">holding events<\/a> across the US in the coming months to provide free training and demos provided by Googlers.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>While the initiative&rsquo;s offerings are for US residents, Google has also pledged $1 billion in grants to non-profits that also aim to help people prepare for the changing nature of work in an increasingly high-tech world. The big G isn&rsquo;t the only tech giant aiming to prevent massive job losses brought about by automation and technology in general.
