Si ces images ne sont pas de m\u00eame nature que la photographie d\u2019enregistrement, elles ne sont pas pour autant de pures fictions. Elles int\u00e8grent un \u00e9tat du savoir scientifique qui leur donne un caract\u00e8re partiellement documentaire. La question abord\u00e9e par cette conf\u00e9rence est celle de l\u2019arch\u00e9ologie de l\u2019image documentaire.
