But the challenges of education have never been meant to be how to do it faster, bigger, better. Because while institutions may be large, learning is always small.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>And so, along with my colleague Jesse Stommel, I work now to proliferate<a href=\"https:\/\/criticaldigitalpedagogy.pressbooks.com\/chapter\/chapter-1\/\">a critical digital pedagogy<\/a>. This is less a response to the exacting expansion of learning out from schools and into corporations, but more a return to revolutionary ideas found in educational philosophers like John Dewey, Paulo Freire, bell hooks, Maxine Greene, and Henry Giroux. Ideas that center not just the individual, but the project of humanization. And out of critical digital pedagogy has grown a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seanmichaelmorris.com\/critical-digital-pedagogy-and-design\/\">critical instructional design<\/a>, which aims at realizing the possibility for learning in digital spaces that supports student agency through a practice of inquiry, empathy, and emergence.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>Traduction :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab Le Web a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 l&rsquo;\u00e9ducation, et en r\u00e9ponse, nous avons trouv\u00e9 des moyens de l&rsquo;automatiser de plus en plus, de la reproduire plus efficacement, de la distribuer plus efficacement. Mais les d\u00e9fis de l&rsquo;\u00e9ducation n&rsquo;ont jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 cens\u00e9s \u00eatre comment le faire plus vite, plus grand, mieux. Parce que m\u00eame si les institutions sont grandes, l&rsquo;apprentissage est toujours petit.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>C&rsquo;est pourquoi, avec mon coll\u00e8gue Jesse Stommel, je travaille maintenant \u00e0 la prolif\u00e9ration d&rsquo;une p\u00e9dagogie num\u00e9rique critique. Il s&rsquo;agit moins d&rsquo;une r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 l&rsquo;expansion exigeante de l&rsquo;apprentissage dans les \u00e9coles et les entreprises, mais plut\u00f4t d&rsquo;un retour aux id\u00e9es r\u00e9volutionnaires que l&rsquo;on retrouve chez les philosophes de l&rsquo;\u00e9ducation comme John Dewey, Paulo Freire, Bell Hooks, Maxine Greene, et Henry Giroux. Des id\u00e9es qui ne centrent pas seulement l&rsquo;individu, mais le projet d&rsquo;humanisation. De la p\u00e9dagogie num\u00e9rique critique est n\u00e9e une conception p\u00e9dagogique critique, qui vise \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser la possibilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;apprendre dans des espaces num\u00e9riques qui soutiennent l&rsquo;action \u00e9tudiante par une pratique d&rsquo;enqu\u00eate, d&#8217;empathie et d&rsquo;\u00e9mergence. \u00bb <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>A retenir et prolonger :<\/strong> il est question ici d&rsquo;\u00e9mancipation et d&#8217;empowerment des \u00e9l\u00e8ves\/\u00e9tudiant.e.s dans le cadre d&rsquo;une p\u00e9dagogie num\u00e9rique critique qui r\u00e9actualise\/adapte la pens\u00e9e de philosophes de l&rsquo;\u00e9ducation telle que John Dewey ou Paolo Freire.
