Jusqu&rsquo;alors, Dorothea Lange avait \u00e9t\u00e9 une photographe portraitiste \u00e0 succ\u00e8s. Mais les \u00e9v\u00e9nements de l&rsquo;\u00e9poque l&rsquo;ont incit\u00e9e \u00e0 quitter la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de son studio pour cr\u00e9er des images puissantes de personnes en crise &#8211; r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s du \u00ab\u00a0dust bowl<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0<sup>1<\/sup><strong>, travailleurs migrants et sans-abri urbains.
