Si on veut permettre aux citoyens d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui et de demain de se pr\u00e9munir contre la propagande, il faut leur donner les outils intellectuels n\u00e9cessaires. En histoire, ces outils sont de l\u2019ordre de la m\u00e9thode. Tenter d\u2019enseigner l\u2019histoire comme certains le font, en narrant un r\u00e9cit compartiment\u00e9, sans jamais (ou presque) prendre le temps d\u2019enseigner le processus de construction de ce r\u00e9cit, c\u2019est imposer \u00ab de force \u00bb une conception de l\u2019histoire sans donner aux apprenants les savoirs-faires qui leurs permettraient de remettre en question ce qu\u2019ils lisent et entendent. Il faut sortir de cette conception bancaire en histoire, les \u00e9l\u00e8ves ne sont pas des r\u00e9cipients vides qu\u2019il faut remplir.
