Non pour s\u2019amuser mais pour doper leur efficacit\u00e9. Diffusion plus rapide et plus large des id\u00e9es, d\u00e9bats enrichis entre scientifiques mais aussi entre sp\u00e9cialistes et profanes, nouveaux supports p\u00e9dagogiques, organisation et partage plus efficaces de la connaissance\u2026 Le tout de fa\u00e7on le plus souvent gratuite et ouverte.\u00a0<\/em><em>\u00abLe but est de faire de la meilleure science et de la diffuser le plus vite possible au plus grand nombre\u00bb, estime Cameron Neylon, biochimiste de l\u2019universit\u00e9 de Southampton et d\u00e9fenseur de la science ouverte (blog. openwetware.org\/science intheopen).\u00bb<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Une source d\u2019inspiration pour la HEP-VD? Mais plus encore:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u00abL\u2019\u00e2me m\u00eame de la recherche est atteinte par cette vague Internet. Jusqu\u2019\u00e0 r\u00e9cemment, le progr\u00e8s scientifique passait par la publication de travaux dans des revues dites \u00e0 comit\u00e9 de lecture\u00a0: une fois pr\u00e9s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s, les articles candidats \u00e0 une publication sont envoy\u00e9s anonymement \u00e0 des pairs qui \u00e9mettent un avis motiv\u00e9. Apr\u00e8s plusieurs semaines, la d\u00e9cision de publication est prise. Mais, de fait, l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019information diffus\u00e9e par ces revues reste restreint et payant.
