All rights reserved. History Alive! is a registered trademark of Teachers’ Curriculum Institute. Traduction et adaptation Lyonel Kaufmann.)

Présentation du site par ses responsables :
Evolving to Meet the Needs of Teachers and Students
In 1989, Teachers’ Curriculum Institute (TCI) was formed to create teaching strategies and materials to allow social studies teachers to reach all learners in the diverse classroom. We are excited to share two new highlights about our programs:
The release of History Alive! The Ancient World for middle schools, and our expanded K–8 core programs, which include Social Studies Alive! for elementary classrooms.
In response to your demand for quality materials that increase student achievement, we have created a series of core social studies programs for kindergarten through middle school. We designed these programs specifically to correlate to state standards, improve students’ content literacy skills, and allow educators to use the same interactive approach across all grade levels. School districts that have implemented our core programs have shown dramatic improvement in test scores and ignited students’ passion for learning.
A new look for our supplemental programs for middle and high school United States and World History. You will receive the same great content but we have repackaged our binders into boxes, which now include soft-bound lesson guides, laminated placards, an audio CD, and color overhead transparencies. We hope these changes make it easier for you to integrate TCI’s supplemental programs into your curriculum.
